WHAT’S IN YOUR TOUR?
EXCITING TOUR DESTINATIONS
After consulting with your school, CTA custom designs a trip exclusively for you and your classmates! Each activity is selected for its relevance, impact or maximum fun factor. Check out the itinerary and see what all the excitement is about!
A SLEEPOVER WITH YOUR FRIENDS
CTA only offers hotels that meet our high quality standards for comfort, convenience and safety, such as Marriott, Hilton and Westin. Our private security officers are on duty every night, patrolling the hallways to ensure your safety. Most student rooms accommodate four students using two double or queen-size beds.
CHOOSING ROOMMATES
Before the trip, you have an opportunity to request your three roommates (maximum four students per room). Final assignments must be approved by your school.
FUN & DELICIOUS MEALS
Breakfasts are usually a full hot and cold buffet unless continental-style service is noted on the schedule. Lunch and dinner sites feature meals at popular restaurants offering either buffet or menu-specific selections, always including a vegetarian option. Special dietary needs can usually be accommodated. Consult your trip itinerary for specific meals included in your tour.
REALLY COOL EVENING ACTIVITIES
The party is almost every night on a CTA trip and may include a DJ dance, theater performance, laser music show, IMAX film, audience-participation student-Jeopardy game, or a Make-Your Own ice cream sundae party. You and your friends are guaranteed to have a blast!
BIG, ROOMY BUSES
CTA provides safe, comfortable transportation aboard a video-equipped luxury motorcoach. It’s sort of like your group having its own half-million dollar chauffeur-driven limo-bus. Very cool!
EXPERT TRIP DIRECTORS
By the end of the trip, your CTA Trip Director seems like your favorite teacher; knowledgeable, witty and teeming with interesting stories from start to finish. Our Trip Directors make traveling and learning fun!
YOUR SAFETY IS OUR PRIORITY
CTA operates an exclusive 24-hour toll-free Safety Hotline that’s imprinted on your CTA wristband and provided by your Trip Director. No worries! Live help is just a phone call away, and although over 99% of our student travelers never need it, you and your parents like knowing that the CTA Safety Hotline is there for you.
MEDICATION, CELL PHONES AND OTHER SCHOOL POLICIES
Check with your school for specific policies on cell phones, medication, and student behavior or grade requirements to qualify you for the trip. During the trip, your school’s policies are always in effect. So, stay on top of your class work, get decent grades, make good behavior choices and then have a blast with your friends on the trip!
HOW TO REGISTER & MAKE PAYMENTS
Your parent must register you Online, with a required payment via mailed check or PayPal online payment at this secure website. If your school does fundraising, CTA can apply your earnings to the cost of your trip with the funds transferred to CTA directly from your school. For financial aid opportunities, have your parent contact your school administration or guidance department.
CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY
CTA offers an exclusive Individual Cancellation Waiver (ICW) available only at the time of initial registration. We urge your parent to consider adding this protection to your trip account.
